How We Got Started
The Waipahu Aloha Clubhouse was established on December 1, 1997. We are one of nine Clubhouses in the state of Hawaii and one of five Clubhouses located on the island of Oahu. We have served over 800 consumers seeking mental wellness. The Waipahu Aloha Clubhouse is a unique member-driven psychiatric rehabilitation program for adults living with serious mental illness. Our members are offered a multitude of opportunities to achieve or regain the confidence and skills necessary to lead productive lives in the community. The member is a full partner in their rehabilitation and recovery, all participation in a Clubhouse is strictly on a voluntary basis.
OUR MISSION
The Waipahu Aloha Clubhouse is a comprehensive psychosocial program that offers rehabilitative services to adults seeking mental wellness. The Waipahu Aloha Clubhouse is a place where members can go to and return, provides meaningful work, gainful employment, opportunities to develop interpersonal skills, and provides a safe and supportive environment that fosters competencies needed for successful community integration.
We are a non-profit - 501c3
